Tim Blodgett

My Story

With a distinguished playing and coaching background, Tim Blodgett brings a wealth of

experience, discipline, and passion to the game. A former member of the United States Marine
Corps Soccer Team, He also earned a spot on the U.S. National 7-a-Side Soccer Team,
representing the country at the highest levels of small-sided play. On top of being involved with
UPSL side San Lee FC for 6 years following that which was a club that he started in 2017.
Building on his playing career, Tim has transitioned into coaching with equal dedication and
excellence. He holds both a UEFA C License and a USSF C License, along with multiple
other diplomas, showcasing a strong foundation in both European and American coaching
methodologies. In addition, Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Soccer Coaching from Ohio
University, with advanced knowledge in player development, game analysis, and team
leadership. For the past 8 years, Tim has served as a Director of Coaching at a local club in North
Carolina, overseeing technical development, coaching education, and club-wide curriculum
implementation. He has also coached both boys’ and girls’ high school soccer at Grace
Christian School for 6 years, earning a reputation for building competitive, disciplined teams
and mentoring young athletes on and off the field. Whether developing youth players or leading competitive teams, Tim combines tactical insight, a relentless work ethic, and a deep love for the game to inspire athletes and elevate performance on and off the field. Tim currently lives in Sanford, North Carolina with his wife Jen and two boys Talin and Ryker.
