Lane Mixon

Lane Mixon is a Utah native with an extensive 38-year career in soccer, competing at various high levels of the game. His journey began with Salt Lake Community College in 1997, where he played a pivotal role in leading the team to a national championship. He later had short stints with Weber State University and Westminster College, further showcasing his talent at the collegiate level.

My Story

Lane Mixon is a Utah native with an extensive 38-year career in soccer, competing at various high levels of the game. His journey began with Salt Lake Community College in 1997, where he played a pivotal role in leading the team to a national championship. He later had short stints with Weber State University and Westminster College, further showcasing his talent at the collegiate level. From 2000 to 2003, Lane competed professionally in indoor soccer, playing for the Utah Freezz in the World Indoor Soccer League (WISL). Following his professional career, he remained actively involved in competitive soccer, playing for Mutiny FC, a premier league team, as well as various first-division adult teams. Over the years, he has secured multiple local, state, and national tournament victories, cementing his legacy in the sport. Today, Lane has the distinct honor and responsibility of representing the United States in the country’s return to the Senior World Cup Games, a testament to his lifelong dedication and excellence in soccer.
